Andrew Barrera

Andrew Barrera started his career working for Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando after graduating from St. Edward's University in Austin with a communication degree. His first production gig outside of college was for "Extreme Makeover Home". From there his career took him to various reality shows like "Hogan Knows Best" on VH1 and "True Life" on MTV. Throughout his career he has worked on documentaries, feature films, commercials, industrials, reality shows, and music videos. His current work this year includes National Geographic as Director of Photography for "Prison Women", and "Alaska Wing Men"; and Director of Photography for "Shipping Wars" on A&E.
Andrew's network experience ranges from ESPN, ABC, to Nat Geo and Discovery. Aside from camera work, Andrew provides BW Films with his expertise as a Director, Cinematographer, and Production Manager, where he has production managed four films, ten commercials and various other projects. He has also directed over ten music videos, four industrials and three commercials. His versatility as a Director, DP and a Producer gives him the ability to cater to any client with specific needs. His celebrated experience provides clients with an edgy, trendy class of work.
